Changing Your Password or PIN
If the administrator has configured settings that allow users to change passwords and personal identification numbers (PIN), you may change the password that you use to log in to Capacity Management Suite® Solution and the PIN that you might use to log in to the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system.
- Tip
If you are in an application, such as BedTracking® application, the PreAdmitTracking® application application or Standard Reports or Clinical Operations > CMS Reports and you want to close the application and access the My Information, My Home Page, and My Notifications tabs, click your user name in the upper-right corner near Logged in As.
To change your password or PIN:
- Select your username link (for example, csmith) on the upper-right of the page, and then select My Information.
- In the Old Password box or Old PIN box, type your previous password or PIN.
- In the New Password or New PIN box, type your new password or PIN.
- Note
The administrator might have set parameters for passwords and PINs. For example, you might need to include capital letters or numerals in a password or the password or PIN might need to be a certain length.
- In the Confirm New Password or Confirm New PIN box, re-type your new password or PIN.
- Click Save.
- Notes
- If a message appears stating that the password or PIN does not meet requirements, contact your administrator to learn the requirements. For example, there might be a minimum number of characters required for each PIN.
- If you have forgotten your password or PIN, select the Forgot your password link? that appears when you are signing in.
